SPECIALIST LEARNING CENTRE

Specialist Learning Centre was founded 10 years ago ( September 1994 ) by Mrs. Lynette Lalla-Chote.

Mrs. Chote, a teacher for the past forty years, single handedly engineered the construction of the building and management of this institution which began with forty seven students and now boasts of an enrolment in excess of three hundred and fifty (350). Mrs. Chote, a teacher of the SEA class, works along tirelessly with her team of specially chosen teachers.

Over the last seven (7) years we have had twenty eight (28) students placing in the first (100) hundred in the SEA examination.

2000 ARVINDA RAMPERSAD placed first ( 1st ) in the country with a perfect score.
2002 KISHARA MAHARAJ placed second ( 2nd) with one point fewer than the perfect score.
2002 HEMLATA SHUKLA placed third in the country.
2003 Specialist Learning Centre had six (6) students placing in the first hundred.
2004 Specialist Learning Centre acquired three (3) students placing in the first hundred.
2005 ANDREW HANOMAN placed third (3rd) in the country.
